Newlisi is an Italian company specializing in the design, construction and operation of plants for the treatment of civil and industrial sewage sludge. It owns a technological solution, patented in 38 countries, based on a thermochemical hydrolysis process.

The Board of Directors’ members are Edoardo Riccio (CEO), Alessandro Campanella (CFO and COO) and Chicco Testa (independent director), formerly chairman of ENEL and ACEA and extremely active in the energy and environmental field.

Newlisi also collaborates with various research centers, including Istituto di Ricerca Sulle Acque (CNR-IRSA) and Politecnico di Milano.

The shareholders, who recently subscribed to a further € 6.5m increase in capital, consist of leading Venture Capital funds and the CEO of the company. In particular, the majority shareholder is 360 Capital, a venture capital fund management company with a focus on Italy and France, boasting a portfolio of over 115 supported companies. Among Newlisi’s shareholders and lenders there are also Indaco Venture Partners sgr and Micheli Associati srl.
